Week 10 blog
This week it's back to work. Mallory and I have started to collaborate on our Global Citizenship Project. I'm excited about the Children's Literature Project because I'm using "Flat Stanley's Worldwide Adventure series" I may use his trip to the capital or the Alamo. I love the series. If any of you are unfamiliar with Flat Stanley it's a kids book series that travels the globe. The author a Jeff Brown writes about a kid who was squished by a bulletin board that hung above his bed. Since. He was flattened he is then mailed around the world on adventures. It's a really great way to get students and their families involved in social studies. Students mail Flat Stanley to family. The family members can take photos of places Stan's been to. Family may also print Stan online and send photos by email of far off places. It's just fun for everyone.
